Bra Woes

From the start.

I should start by saying HELLO! My name is Taryn, I’m 19 and I’m a plus sized girl. I’ve always been plus sized ALL MY LIFE. So it should come to no surprise that I’m writing this blog. Let me be honest here, being plus sized isn’t always easy, and it’s not for everyone. I like to tell my friends, “I didn’t choose to be plus sized. it chose me and it’s up to me what I do with it.” Now, I know right now you girls are thinking, “Hey Taryn! There’s nothing wrong with being plus sized! I’m a big girl and I love it!” And I agree whole heartedly. I’ve gotta be one of the most confident big girls out there. But not every plus sized girl is self confident, and some girls would rather be a normal size than be plus sized. And haven’t “got a feel for their own skin” yet.

And this blog is for all of these girls. With Plussizegirl.com I plan to encourage other full figured women to break out of the mindset that skinny is beautiful and love themselves for who they are. I want you guys to be able to stand naked in front of a mirror and love the skin you’re in. I’ve had all the highs and lows of being full figured and let me tell you, I’m proud of where I am right now. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I could be healthier. And that will come.
Let’s just say, this blog is a encourager for me, just like it will be for other plus sized girls. I want to explore all the aspects of being plus sized. And when this blog is done, (if it will EVER be done.) I want all of us to sigh and feel refreshed and happy that we ever spent time here and know in the deep of our hearts that being plus sized is the way to be.
